Whether you’re thinking big or small, Internal Illumination means concealing the light source, usually 12v LED modules, inside. For a really simple touch of class, choose Halo Lit; with the glowing edge casting a halo of light. Or Back Lit for maximum impact, where the light projects from inside the Built Up Letter. Indoor signs especially can look great Front Lit too, with the face of the letter illuminated.
Our Light Box signs are designed and bespoke built in-house, so you can choose whether just the lettering is illuminated, or the whole face of the sign. With a rigid light box-grade (Opal) Acrylic face, or a Tension Banner for the very largest signs, there are long term exterior options. And of course, we’ll install for you to the very highest standard.

The short answer is ‘sometimes’ – it’s important you check with your Local Council first, rather than risk having to have it permanently switched off! ‘Ordinary’ signs don’t usually require consent, but it’s more commonly required if they’re illuminated, especially if you’re in a conservation area. We can provide you with detailed elevation drawings and technical information for your Planning Application if you need it.
We use high quality Aluminium, with a powdercoated (paint) finish or Aluminum Composite for our external signs, both of which have a 5-7 year stated lifespan. Once the Aluminium frames are fixed in place for Tension Banners (sometimes called ‘flex face’ signs) you can easily have new graphics fitted; these are a permanent sign, much more substantial than a temporary PVC banner. The LEDs we use are guaranteed for 100,000 hours.
