Flat Cut Letters

For smaller signs where stand-off letters might not be suitable, Flat Cut Letters will give you a high-end finish and a top-quality look. They’re mounted directly onto the background to give a subtle 3D effect which highlights a logo, or gives secondary prominence to key details or a strapline.

Flat cut letters signs, designed, manufactured and installed in-house

Perfectly suited to smaller lettering, or to highlight important information on more compact signs, we use 3mm or 5mm Perspex Acrylic, laser-cut in house, for an intricate and specialist finish. Slightly raised from the surface of the sign panel, or mounted directly to a wall surface, Flat Cut Letters always add style.

We’ll paint finish your Flat Cut letters in any colour under the sun and attach with self-adhesive High Bond Tape, so you can be sure of a secure fit. For internal signs, this makes Flat Cut Letters the go-to choice for tactile areas such as reception desks or retail displays…where idle hands might be tempted to fiddle!

Flat Cut Letters - Frequently Asked Questions

How small is too small for Flat Cut Letters?

About 20mm high is achievable in a chunky, solid font style, but the most important thing to consider is whether the letters will be too skinny and fragile once cut – for designers, we call this the ‘stroke width’ of the font. As an alternative, very small lettering can be cut in self-adhesive vinyl – our Design Team can advise where this would be more suitable.

Can I install Flat Cut letters myself?

We’d be happy to provide you with a ‘supply only’ quote if you’re considering installing smaller signs yourself – and don’t worry, we’ll include a template so everything stays in the right place! Or our team of highly skilled fitters can install across Cheshire and the North West if you’d prefer. Just ask us for a quote.

    Can you arrange courier delivery?

We use a next day courier delivery service for deliveries to UK business addresses – please ask us for a quote as the size and weight of the packages may be quite large! There is also an option to pay a little more for a pre-12 or early morning delivery if you need your items in a hurry.

How do I get a quotation?

Give us a call or fill in our quote request form. Usually the first step is creating a unique design – we don’t charge for initial drawings, as that’s ‘just part of the process’ for us. Your quote will then be based on the design as this allows us to consider material and component costs, as well as estimating the time required for installation. Or, if another designer has already done some drawings, we can quote from these too.

It’s an effective way to make you and your fleets safe, especially at night or in poor driving conditions.
